The medical term for high iron is hemochromatosis. I was diagnosed with it about five years ago. My initial iron count was 1400, which was ridiculously high. Gave a therapeutic blood donation - about a pint or so - every two weeks for six months and it brought my iron level back into range. I now donate regularly every two months to keep it in check. Regular donations are actually good for you as your body manufactures fresh blood cells. There’s a list of drugs you’re not supposed to have in your system when you donate, primarily aspirin or other blood thinners. I’ve been on TRT for several years and never had any problem. Don’t think any PEDs are on the list either.
