Changed my approach last prep. Used to pull GH 8 weeks out, always had that period where I felt I was losing the edge close to show. Kept it running at 3.5 IU fasted AM all the way through this time and the result was measurably better conditioning in the final 2 weeks. IGF-1 at week 4 confirmed the product was legitimate and dosed correctly. For anyone still pulling early - what is your actual reason? Water retention at 3.5 IU is not the issue it was at higher doses. Age-dependent dosing matters too - at 58 I run 3 IU where younger guys push to 4 IU near the show.

The old logic of pulling GH 8 weeks out was based on fear of water retention that modern prep protocols have largely solved. At 3-4 IU fasted AM the water is manageable in peak week. The benefit of keeping GH through to show day - skin quality, muscle fullness, and that final tissue conditioning effect in the last 2 weeks - outweighs the water management complexity. I have been running it all the way through for 4 years now and the final stage package is consistently better. IGF-1 testing at week 4 to confirm product quality is non-negotiable when you are paying GH prices.

The physiological basis for running GH through to show day is sound. GH at 3-4 IU fasted AM produces IGF-1 elevation that continues to drive soft tissue adaptation, collagen synthesis, and lipolysis through the final preparation weeks. The historical practice of pulling early was based on anecdotal water retention concerns rather than pharmacological rationale. IGF-1 at week 4 as quality confirmation is essential given the price. At 3.5 IU my IGF-1 should be above 250 ng/mL on legitimate product.

Older prep logic around pulling GH early was based on a fear of water that higher-dose modern prep protocols have overcome. At 3-4 IU fasted AM the water management is straightforward in peak week if your overall prep is dialled in. The skin quality and muscle fullness in the final two weeks of a prep where GH was run through are consistently better than cycles where it was pulled at week 8 out. The IGF-1 test at week 4 is the right move regardless - at those prices you want confirmation the product is real.

The IGF-1 test at week 4 as quality confirmation is the correct protocol. Running GH without this data point is irrational given the cost. My IGF-1 at week 4 of 3.5 IU came back at 312 ng/mL, which confirmed dosing accuracy. Running through to show day at this dose - the water management argument for pulling early does not hold at 3.5 IU with modern prep protocols. The final conditioning in the last 2 weeks is measurably better when GH has been continuous.
