Been on TRT for 6 years now and the visceral gut is something I can't fully shift regardless of how clean my diet is or how lean I get overall. Tried 2 IU GH for a few months and it helped some but not dramatically. Seen a few mentions of tesamorelin and the clinical data behind it is interesting - it's the only compound with actual approval for visceral lipodystrophy so the mechanism is at least properly researched.
Question is whether anyone here has run it properly and actually seen the gut shift, and how it compares to just bumping the GH dose. The 1-2mg daily protocol sounds like it gets expensive but if it's genuinely more targeted at the visceral depot I'd rather run something that fits the problem than just more GH hoping fat loss distributes there. Anyone run both back to back?
