Anyone running Tesamorelin specifically for visceral fat - does it actually shift it better than GH?

Been on TRT for 6 years now and the visceral gut is something I can't fully shift regardless of how clean my diet is or how lean I get overall. Tried 2 IU GH for a few months and it helped some but not dramatically. Seen a few mentions of tesamorelin and the clinical data behind it is interesting - it's the only compound with actual approval for visceral lipodystrophy so the mechanism is at least properly researched.

Question is whether anyone here has run it properly and actually seen the gut shift, and how it compares to just bumping the GH dose. The 1-2mg daily protocol sounds like it gets expensive but if it's genuinely more targeted at the visceral depot I'd rather run something that fits the problem than just more GH hoping fat loss distributes there. Anyone run both back to back?

Ran it at 1mg daily for 12 weeks on a TRT base last year. The visceral reduction was real and measurable - not dramatic but visible around the midsection by week 8. IGF came back at 280 at week 4 which confirmed it was doing something. Side profile was mild for me, a bit of water retention in the hands initially and that settled after 3 weeks. The cost comparison to running 2-3iu GH daily is pretty close when you factor in the GH pricing now, so it comes down to which protocol you prefer to manage.

Good discussion. Tesamorelin is one of the more interesting peptides for the TRT crowd dealing with visceral fat that diet alone is not moving. The key point about IGF bloods at week 4 is worth repeating - if your levels are not moving you need to sort the source before adjusting the protocol.
