View Full Version : Cruise length between blasts - how long are you taking?

Curious what people are doing for cruise duration between blasts. I used to do minimum 12 weeks at TRT dose before going again but after my last longer blast I am thinking 16-20 weeks makes more sense for health markers to come back properly. Hematocrit needs time, lipids need time, heart needs a break. What is everyone actually doing in practice, 12 weeks, longer, or are some of you just cruising indefinitely with no blast planned?

At minimum time on equals time off, so if you blasted 16 weeks you cruise 16 weeks. That is the bare minimum. I usually add a few weeks on top because I get bloods done mid cruise and if anything is still off I wait until it normalises. Health markers over ego, the next blast will still be there.

16 weeks minimum for me now. Used to do 12 but my lipids were not recovering properly in that time. Hematocrit comes back quicker than lipids in my experience. Get bloods at week 10 of cruise and use that to decide when to go again, not a calendar.

i do 12 weeks usually but honestly i should probably do longer. my lipids are always still a bit off at 12 weeks. hard to wait when you are itching to go again but you are right, the blast will still be there. might try 16 weeks this time and see if my bloods look better going in

Good thread. Been guilty of jumping back too early myself. The bloods approach makes much more sense than a fixed calendar, everyone recovers at a different rate depending on what they ran and how long. Do you find cardio during the cruise helps the lipids come back faster or is that mainly diet?

Good discussion. I am currently on PCT after my first cycle but already thinking about what I will do differently next time. What is minimum time people recommend between a 12 week cycle and the next one? I have read time on equals time off, so 12 weeks, but some say more. I want to plan properly from the beginning.
