View Full Version : Tren - is the reputation deserved or is it just internet exaggeration?

I read so much online about tren being the most powerful compound but also the most dangerous for mental health, cardiovascular system, and general wellbeing. Some people say the sides are exaggerated by internet culture and at low doses it is manageable. Others say even 200mg per week caused serious problems. I have never used it, I am not sure I want to. But I want to understand - for experienced users, is tren as serious as the reputation says or is it overhyped? And if you have used it, would you use again?
The reputation is deserved. I ran it twice, both times at 300mg ace per week. Results were incredible, no question. But the night sweats were brutal, sleep was wrecked, and the second time I noticed I was short tempered in a way I did not like. Wife noticed it too before I did. Never going back. For competitive bodybuilders the tradeoff might make sense. For the rest of us there are better options.

Run it twice, would not do it again. The physique results are real but so are the sides. Cardiovascular strain is no joke on tren, resting heart rate went up, cardio felt like twice the effort. Mentally I was fine but sleep was terrible. At 200mg the sides were manageable, at 400mg they were not worth it. Most guys I know who ran tren a few times have moved on to cleaner compounds as they get older.

Not exaggerated. Even low dose tren changes how you feel day to day. Some guys handle it fine, most do not. The insomnia alone tanks recovery enough to question whether the extra muscle is worth it. I ran it once at 200mg, results were real, but I was angry for no reason and my girl called me out on it after two weeks. Did the full 8 weeks and never touched it again. Test, primo, mast - same results over time without the baggage.
The results are real. The sides are real. Simple as that. Some people handle it better than others, genetics play a big role. If you are asking whether to run it - for a first or second cycle absolutely not. If you have years of experience and want to see what it does, try 200mg ace for 6 weeks and make your own judgment. But go in knowing the sleep disruption and cardiovascular strain are not internet myths.

Thank you for the honest answers in this thread. I was curious about tren but after reading this I think I will stay away for many years at least. For someone on a second or third cycle, is there a compound you would recommend as a step up from test only that has better risk profile than tren? Primo seems to be mentioned a lot here.
