View Full Version : 100-150mg Deca on a TRT cruise just for joints, is this actually doing anything real?

On 200mg test per week cruise and joints are starting to talk to me after years of heavy training. Considering adding 100-150mg Deca purely for the joint relief, not chasing mass at all. Read enough to know the mechanism is real - collagen synthesis, synovial fluid - but wondering how long before you actually feel it and whether the prolactin management is genuinely necessary at that dose. Caber is on hand regardless. Has anyone run low-dose nandrolone long-term as a cruise add-on and found it worth keeping in?
my preference has always been NPP for the joint benefit on a cruise, exactly because you can pull it fast if something goes wrong. ran low deca a couple of times and it worked fine at 100mg but when you're already on a long-term TRT protocol, waiting months for a long ester to clear if prolactin becomes a problem isn't ideal. either way, keep the nandrolone dose under your test dose - non-negotiable regardless of which ester you pick.

My preference is NPP, too.
Haven't ran decca in 10 years. I honestly however don't feel much in the way of joint relief from NPP unless north of 300 mg. May go back to decca again just to see if how I react after such a long time.

Interesting you're not feeling it from NPP under 300mg. In my experience low deca does more for joints than NPP at the same dose, probably because of the longer ester and how it accumulates. If you're going back after 10 years, start at 150mg and give it 10-12 weeks - the joint response comes on slowly but it's real at that dose for most guys.

Much appreciated pal. Back then I was essentially running doses north of 800mg of nandrolone per week.
100-150mg definitely sounds reasonable buddy

at that dose it's doing real work on the connective tissue. maybe not as fast as higher doses but the collagen synthesis effect is well established and you'll feel it by week 10-12 like he said. coming from 800mg+ the accumulation just feels slower at low dose because you're used to saturating fast. keep test at or above the deca and you're good. some guys run 50mg npp and still get a genuine joint effect, so 150mg deca is a proper therapeutic dose, not a token amount.
