Three years running Proviron at 50mg per day throughout every blast. Time to give an honest assessment rather than repeat what you read on forums. What it genuinely does - competes for SHBG binding, frees up more testosterone for use, most noticeable if your SHBG is elevated. Mild anti-estrogenic effect at 50mg. What it does not reliably do - fix libido for everyone. The community is genuinely split on this. Half report meaningful improvement within a week. The other half run 8 weeks and feel nothing. The outcome depends heavily on baseline SHBG. My SHBG runs high and I notice it clearly. Members with already-low SHBG may genuinely get nothing. DHT compound so hair loss risk is real for those sensitive.

Ran Proviron at 50mg daily for my last two cycles. First cycle noticed a clear improvement in libido and general wellbeing within the first week. Very positive experience. Second cycle - honestly could not tell whether it was doing anything. Same dose, similar cycle structure. The split community response you describe is exactly what I experienced personally across two runs. The SHBG explanation makes sense as the variable. Will get SHBG tested before the next run to see if that predicts the response.

Proviron response being split in the community tracks with my own experience. Run it on two cycles. First cycle at 50mg - noticed improved libido and mood within a week, clear difference. Second cycle at 50mg - nothing noticeable at all. Same product, same dose, different baseline hormonal state between the two cycles. The SHBG variable is the explanation that makes most sense. My SHBG was higher on the first cycle where it worked. Lower on the second where it did not. Good compound when it works, frustrating when it does not.
