View Full Version : When do you get your first bloodwork on a cycle and what do you actually test for?

Starting my first cycle in 2 weeks - 500mg test e. I know I need to get bloodwork done but not sure exactly when and what to test for. Pre-cycle bloods I already have. Should I test mid-cycle and if so at what week? And what is on the panel - total test, estradiol sensitive, CBC? I keep reading about people checking their E2 and lipids but want to make sure I have a complete list before I commit to anything.

so mid cycle bloods at like week 6? and the panel is total test, sensitive e2, and CBC? is there anything else worth adding for a first cycle or is that enough to go on?

Running a full mid-cycle panel at week 6 is what I am planning - total test, sensitive E2, CBC for hematocrit, lipids, and liver markers ALT and AST. That covers the main things that can go wrong on a first cycle. Pre-cycle baseline for comparison is already done. The altitude factor for hematocrit is something I need to watch - being in Colorado means my baseline hematocrit is naturally a bit higher than sea-level norms so I need to track the change from my own baseline rather than against standard lab ranges.
