The IGF-1 testing recommendation is the kind of practical detail I was looking for on peptides. Good to know there is a measurable way to confirm something is actually happening rather than just guessing. Bookmarking this thread for when I eventually look at adding GH down the road.

Running GH for 7 years now. 25 years lifting total. Seen every protocol come and go. What actually works for muscle and staying lean at 50 plus: 2iu fasted AM on training days, 1iu pre bed on off days. Split dosing at higher amounts when budget allows but most guys do not need to go above 3iu daily. Peptides like ipamorelin plus CJC get you 70 percent of the way there at a fraction of the cost. IGF-1 should sit 200 to 300 range on a working protocol. Get it tested at 6 weeks.

Saving this thread for much later. GH is not on my radar for a long time but this is the kind of detailed breakdown I want when I eventually get there. The IGF-1 testing point at 6 weeks to confirm it is working is the most practical piece of advice I have seen on peptides.

The peptides vs GH cost comparison is useful. I am running ipamorelin and CJC right now as a cheaper entry point. IGF-1 came back at 187 from a baseline of 124. Not dramatic but something is happening. Will test again at 3 months.
