View Full Version : First ever blood panel back and half of it makes no sense, what should a beginner actually be looking at?

Right lads, first cycle bloods came back today and half of it may as well be in another language. Test only, 500mg test e a week, im week 6 in. The sheet has about 40 lines on it, hematocrit, AST, ALT, sensitive estradiol, LH, FSH, lipids and a load more i dont even recognise. Which of these actually matter for someone on a first test only run, and which can i ignore for now? Dont want to panic over a number thats flagged out of range if its not even one that counts for us.

Do not let the full sheet spook you, on a test only first cycle only a handful of those markers actually matter. Keep an eye on hematocrit for red cells creeping up, sensitive e2 which you want roughly 20 to 40, plus your lipids and liver enzymes. Total test just confirms the gear is real and dosed right. LH and FSH will read basically zero on cycle and that is completely normal, those two only matter before you start and after PCT. Best thing you can do is compare against your own baseline rather than staring at the lab ranges.

Welcome to reading your own panels. For a test only first cycle the ones that actually matter are hematocrit, lipids, AST and ALT, total and free test, sensitive estradiol, and LH and FSH. Compare to your own baseline rather than the lab ranges, that is where beginners tie themselves in knots. Post the numbers if you want a hand making sense of them.

Dont let the full sheet spook you, most of those markers you can ignore for a test only first cycle. The ones that actually matter are hematocrit off the blood count, your lipids, liver enzymes AST and ALT, total and free test, and sensitive e2. Hematocrit is just red cell percentage and test pushes it up, anything creeping past 52 you sort with a blood donation. And dont panic seeing LH and FSH near zero, thats completely normal on cycle, those two only mean anything pre cycle and after PCT.

For a first cycle you really only need to watch a handful of them. Hematocrit is your red cell percentage, it creeps up on test and if it pushes past 52 or so you just donate blood and it drops back. Sensitive e2 you want roughly 20 to 40, do not crash it chasing a perfect number, low e2 with sore joints and no libido feels worse than slightly high. Total test just confirms the gear is real, and LH and FSH reading near zero on cycle is expected not alarming, those two only matter before you start and after PCT. Compare it all to your own baseline, not the lab ranges.

Good to see a first timer actually running bloods, most dont bother until something has already gone wrong. Compare to your own baseline over the lab range and youll read it a lot clearer. Solid start mate.
