Hey fellas,
Wife is going through peri-menopause (44 yrs old) has had several tests done, low estrogen relatively low testosterone, too. Have been thinking and discussing with her female trt. Has anyone else's wife/girlfriend/female friend/acquaintance use or using TRT?

Yeah, went through this with my wife a couple years ago. Similar age, bloodwork showed low E2 and below-range free test. She's been on a low dose estrogen patch plus a small testosterone pellet every 3 months. Night sweats cleared up, energy and mood noticeably better within about 6 weeks. The key is finding a doctor who actually tests free testosterone for women and not just the standard hormone panel, most GPs miss it completely.

Thanks for sharing pal
I was thinking eventually (blood work etc permitting) using test or, if possible get a more diluted form of testosterone cyp like 20mg or 50mg per ml in order to accurately dose. From what I've read women on TRT are anywhere from 6-15mg per week

6-15mg/week is the right ballpark for women. Most find their sweet spot around 8-10mg once bloods are dialled in, some need a bit less if they're sensitive to androgen sides at all.
The diluted cyp idea makes a lot of sense. Standard 200mg/ml is a nightmare to dose accurately at those amounts, 20-50mg/ml is much more manageable. Some go the cream or gel route for the same reason, easier to adjust without worrying about tiny volume differences in a syringe.
Just get a baseline on her total test, free test and E2 before starting. Women respond fast to even small doses and you want to know where she is before adding anything.
