How do you actually travel with your gear for a few weeks away without the stress?

Got a trip coming up, few weeks away, and I don't want to just drop my protocol for the whole time. Problem is the idea of travelling with vials and pins has me a bit on edge, never done it before. For those of you who go away regular, how do you actually handle it? Do you just carry a cruise dose worth and pre draw, stick it in checked or carry on, and does having a proper TRT script actually make it a non issue at the border? Just want to hear how the guys who do this without losing sleep over it actually go about it.

I separate everything. Put the gear in a new vial. Just what you need. Put the vial in with shaving cream and other cosmetic bottles. Put the plastic syringes in with clothes. And put the needles in with toilet bag with nail clippers steel nail file etc.
If its a short trip. I have an insulin folder thing. Preload 5 or so syringes and just put in bag next to toilet bag. Couple times i have put my 100ml vials in with mrs bag with perfume bottles and put syringes and needles in my bag to split the risk never had any problems.

For a short trip just drop to a cruise dose and pre draw the minimum into a couple of vials rather than hauling the whole stash, less to carry is less to explain. And research the destination first, the legal picture swings wildly, gear thats a shrug at home can be a real headache somewhere strict.

Honestly the real risk is way lower than the anxiety makes it, its the unlabelled UG vials and big quantities that cause problems, not a labelled script box in your carry on.

Did 3 weeks through Asia on cruise dose only and kept it dead simple, original pharmacy box with the script in carry on and nothing else. Never got a second look. If youre just on a cruise dose theres no reason to bring more than the trip needs plus a few days buffer.

Checked luggage is a gamble with lost bags so Id rather carry it and be able to explain a labelled script than have it sitting in cargo somewhere. Worth checking the actual laws for wherever youre headed too, some countries dont care and others will make it a thing.

First and foremost get a TRT prescription (if you’re in the US, very easy to get).
Mix all your stuff (dosed accordingly), then put it into test bottle(s).

Also, customs/TSA won’t pull you over and fine you for 2-3 “Test vials”. Just to confiscate a product (which in your case is a controlled medication), it’s a lot of paperwork to them

Spot on for domestic. TSA aren't DEA, they flag it to law enforcement if they find it but realistically nobody shows up for 2-3 vials. International is a different story though - cross a real customs inspection and it gets seized, no question. For longer trips I usually front load a bit heavier the week before, pin day of departure and manage from there. Checked bag, never carry on.
