PCT started, week 1 check in

First cycle done, waited 2 weeks after last test e pin and started nolvadex today. 40mg for 2 weeks then dropping to 20mg for 4 weeks as recommended in this forum. Feeling a bit flat which I expected but nothing dramatic. Strength has dropped slightly in the gym but not as much as I feared. Mood is fine. I will post bloodwork at 6 weeks post PCT to confirm recovery. Is there anything specific I should monitor or symptoms I should watch for in these first few weeks?

You are doing it correctly. The flat feeling in week 1-2 is normal and gets better as LH and FSH recover. Watch for low libido and mood changes, if they are severe that can mean recovery is slow. But most people feel noticeably better by week 3-4 of nolva. Keep training, keep protein high, sleep as much as you can. These are the most important things for recovery alongside the nolva.

Good protocol. Some temporary lethargy and strength loss is just the reality of PCT, do not fight it by eating more or training harder. Your body is recovering, let it. Libido dip is the main thing to watch, if it completely disappears for more than 2 weeks flag it. Most guys bounce back fine on nolva after a clean test-only first cycle. You have done everything right, should be straightforward.
