Getting ready to plan a cut cycle. Main debate for me is primo vs mast as the secondary compound alongside test. I like that primo adds lean muscle while cutting, whereas mast is more about hardening and androgenic effects. Only issue is primo costs a lot more. Running test at 400mg. Anyone have experience with both and a strong preference? Leaning primo but trying to think it through.

Mast if you have done it before and know how you respond to androgens. The hardening effect and the way it interacts with lower estrogen on a cut is hard to beat aesthetically. Primo is better for lean muscle retention but if your primary goal is looking cut and hard, mast wins on a shorter cut.

Primo at 400-500mg will do more for body composition over 12-16 weeks than mast. The lean mass retention on a cut is measurable. Mast is more androgenic and the physical effects are noticeable in a different way. If cost is a genuine constraint primo ace can be a middle ground - slightly shorter ester but cheaper per mg than enanthate.

What is the actual price difference between the two at most sources? Trying to understand if the primo premium is 20 percent more or closer to double.
