Summer is around the corner and I am planning a lean phase. Always run test solo or test and tren but this time I want something cleaner. Looking at either primo e or mast e as the second compound. Primo - better muscle quality, does not murder your hair as much, pricey as anything here in AU. Mast - cheaper, dries you right out, but I have heard blokes lose a lot of hair on it. Hair is not a huge concern but I would rather keep what I have. What would you run?

Ran mast p at 400mg alongside 600 test for a summer cut. Dried me out well, strength stayed up, looked lean. Hair was fine - thick hair and no family history so I got lucky. If I had any hairline concerns I would have gone primo. For someone in your position with the primo already researched I would just go that route.

Primo every time if you can afford it. Mast is fine but the hair thing is real if you have any predisposition. I started losing more on mast within 6 weeks and dropped it. Primo did not touch my hair at all and the muscle hardness was noticeably better. Worth the extra cost for a proper lean phase.

Never run either but this thread is exactly the kind of info I needed. Was considering mast for my next run but the hair risk is something I need to think about seriously. Already starting to notice a bit of recession naturally. Probably going primo to be safe, even with the extra cost.

Mast shredded my hair mate. Had decent hair before, ran mast e for 16 weeks and noticed thinning by week 10. Not going back. Primo is expensive in the UK too but your scalp will thank you. If you are not already showing MPB signs mast is a gamble.

I plan to try primo on my next cycle also. Currently I have only done test and deca. The pharmacology information in this thread from DutchPharma is helpful. Lower androgenic index than mast makes sense for hair safety. My question is - does primo require an AI or does it help control estrogen itself?

From a pharmacological standpoint both are DHT derivatives and mast has a higher androgenic index than primo. The hair loss risk with mast is well documented in individuals with genetic predisposition. If scalp health is a factor at all, primo is the logical choice. The hardening and dryness effects are comparable in my experience, though primo takes longer to fully kick in with the enanthate ester.

Very interesting thread. I am still planning my first cycle but I read everything to learn for the future. The difference between compounds is something I want to understand properly before I move beyond test only. Primo sounds like a good option for the future - clean and safer on hair. Thank you for starting this discussion.

Been running mast e at 400mg for about 8 weeks now alongside 500 test. Not losing hair but I started with pretty thick hair. The dryness is real, looking pretty lean without actually being that lean if that makes sense. Might try primo next run just to compare. What dose do you usually run it at?

Never run either but this thread has convinced me primo is the way to go when I eventually add a second compound. The hair risk with mast is not worth it. Do you need to run an AI with primo or does it keep estrogen under control on its own?
