Lipid management is probably the most neglected aspect of long term AAS use. After 8 years of cycling and quarterly bloods I have developed a protocol that keeps my HDL-LDL ratio within acceptable range year round. Key interventions in order of impact: 4 grams of omega 3 daily (the actual EPA/DHA content, not total oil), aerobic training 3 times per week minimum even during a blast, avoiding oral 17-AA compounds except for very short windows, and extended cruise phases between blasts rather than blasting continuously. Happy to share specific bloodwork data if anyone wants to discuss the numbers.

The aerobic training point is underrated. Most guys on blast drop cardio entirely because they think it kills gains. In reality 3x20 minutes of steady state does almost nothing to interfere with muscle building and keeps HDL from tanking. I started doing morning walks of 30 minutes and my lipid panel improved noticeably within one cycle. Simple and free.

The omega 3 point is something I started taking seriously last year. Was taking 1g a day, switched to 4g actual EPA/DHA and the difference in my lipid panel at 8 weeks was noticeable. HDL came up, triglycerides dropped. Cheap fix that most guys overlook. What brand do you use for the omega 3?
