EQ hunger at 1g is making it impossible to eat clean, how are you guys managing it?

Running 1g EQ with 500mg test and the hunger is genuinely out of control. Trying to run a clean lean bulk but I am eating everything in sight by 3pm. Anyone got strategies for managing it? High fiber foods, meal timing, anything. Week 6 now so it is fully kicked in. Not complaining about the pumps but the appetite is a problem.

High fiber vegetables before the main meal helps blunt the spike. Also spreading meals to 6-7 a day rather than 4 makes each one more manageable. The metallic taste in the mouth is real on EQ - when I get that I know it is fully active. Past week 8 it does settle slightly for most people.

Protein shakes with psyllium husk added is how I managed it. Cuts the hunger response without adding many calories. Also helps if you time your biggest meals around training. The 1g EQ hunger is something else though - I dropped to 600mg after 8 weeks specifically because of it.

I had this problem at 800mg EQ. I think at 1g it must be very difficult. For me the metallic taste you mention came around week 5 and the hunger peaked at week 7-8. I had to plan every meal in advance to avoid eating badly. The gains were good though, I cannot deny this.
