Is anyone under 45 still doing full PCT or is blast and cruise just the norm now?

Got a mate who is 38 and asking whether to run a proper PCT after his second blast or just cruise. Honest answer from me is most serious guys I know havent done a PCT in years. But I want to hear what the board thinks. Is full PCT still worth considering at his age or is B&C the obvious choice now for anyone planning long term use?

At 38 with long term plans I would cruise personally. Full PCT after every blast is hard on your body and the recovery gets slower each time. If he is already on his second blast the writing is probably on the wall. B&C lets him plan properly, keep bloodwork managed, and stay consistent.

Have not done a PCT in 9 years. B&C is just more practical for anyone serious about this long term. The guys still doing PCT are either keeping options open for fertility or genuinely trying to come fully off. At 38 on his second blast - if he is asking this question he probably already knows the answer.

I am still doing PCT because I am not sure yet if this is a long term commitment for me. My second cycle ends in 3 months. Running HCG throughout to keep things viable. If I decide to continue long term I will switch to cruise. Is it common to change approach after a few cycles?

B&C is the dominant approach for anyone who has accepted this is a long-term lifestyle. I have not done a proper PCT in 12 years. The HRT mindset makes more sense physiologically for guys who are going to cycle repeatedly - constant recovery and re-suppression is harder on your system than a stable cruise. That said under 30 I would still recommend PCT and proper time off to understand your baseline.

B&C for 6 years now. Tried PCT after my first two cycles and the recovery was miserable both times. Went back to feeling average for 3-4 months before I felt normal again. Cruise at 150-200mg keeps everything stable and I feel consistently good year round. The quality of life argument alone sold me.

I know guys who come fully off every year by choice. Both approaches work. The difference is what you are optimising for - fertility and long-term hormonal flexibility favour coming off, quality of life and consistent performance favour B&C. Know what your goal is before you commit to either path.

I am 26 and just finished my first cycle. Did a proper PCT with Clomid and Nolvadex and my bloods recovered well at the 6 week post-PCT check. I know most guys here are on B&C but for me at this age coming fully off feels like the right approach for now. Glad I had the recovery data to look at.

B&C since my third cycle at 29. Now 36 and never looked back. The crash coming off after each cycle was brutal and unnecessary. Cruise at 150mg keeps everything stable year round. The recovery and re-suppression cycle just does not make sense when you know you are going to blast again in 3-4 months anyway.
