Getting lean on reta before blasting, who is making this standard protocol now?

Dropped 16kg on reta before starting my blast this spring. Ran 1.5mg per week split Monday and Thursday for 14 weeks. Jumped in to the blast at 14% bodyfat instead of the usual 19-20 I would be carrying. Recovery between sessions was noticeably better from week 3. Pumps were denser. I am not going back to blasting fat. Who else has made the GLP-1 phase standard protocol before going heavy?

Starting lean is not new advice but most guys ignore it. The body responds better to a blast from 14% than from 20%. Simple observation but one that takes the discipline of a GLP-1 phase to actually act on.

The muscle fullness difference is real when you start a blast leaner. I had dismissed it as bro science for years but running a GLP-1 phase before my last blast and starting at 13% changed my view. The gear hits differently at that bodyfat.

Pre-blast GLP-1 phase is standard protocol for me now. The body composition difference when you start a blast leaner is not subtle. I will not go into a heavy blast above 17% again.

Tried tirzepatide before my last blast. Lost about 8kg over 10 weeks. The transition to the full blast did feel different - fuller pumps and noticeably better recovery from the first week. Will make the GLP-1 phase standard going forward.

Used reta before my first proper blast last year. Lost 12kg over 16 weeks. Starting the blast at under 15% bodyfat was the best decision I made. The difference in how the compound hits at that bodyfat is real.

Pre-blast GLP-1 phase is correct protocol. Starting a blast fat is one of the most common mistakes guys make. The leaner you are when you start, the better the muscle to fat gain ratio. Always.

Used a GLP-1 compound before my last blast. Not reta, I used sema. Lost about 10kg over 12 weeks. The difference starting leaner was noticeable from the first week of the blast. I will not go back to blasting heavy.

The pre-blast GLP-1 protocol is something I am seriously considering for my next cycle. The leaner starting point argument is convincing when you see the results guys are reporting. Makes sense to approach the blast from a better base.
