Carbs during a blast, are you actually hitting your targets or running protein heavy and guessing?

Running 600mg test and 300mg deca right now and I was eating the same way I eat on cruise. My coach looked at my food log and told me I was leaving half the cycle in the trash. Added 200g carbs per day, mostly jasmine rice around training. In two weeks my recovery improved noticeably and I started seeing weight on the bar again. The gear primes you for growth but you need to give it the fuel. Anyone else guilty of not eating enough on blast?

Carbs on blast are not optional if you want the compound to do its job. The anabolic environment created by the gear is only partially activated without adequate carbohydrate substrate. Running protein-heavy on a blast is leaving real gains behind.
