Reading about the FDA shutting down compounding pharmacies for semaglutide in the US. From South Africa this affects us differently as most guys here source direct anyway but it is interesting to watch. The guys on this forum were using these compounds 15-20 years before Ozempic made them mainstream. Now that it is mainstream the regulators are paying attention. Where is everyone sourcing GLP-1 compounds now given the changing situation?

This community was using these compounds before the FDA even knew they existed in this context. The regulatory attention is inevitable once mainstream adoption happens. Research chemical supply is what it is right now - use the window while it is open.

In Germany the peptide sourcing situation is different from the US. Most members here use research chemical suppliers. The regulatory attention in the US is interesting to watch but has not yet affected Europe in the same way.

The regulatory situation in Australia is similar to what you are describing. Research chemical suppliers still operating but I am watching this closely. The semaglutide compounding move was a clear warning shot across the bow.

From New Zealand the regulatory picture is different again. Research chemical sourcing is how most guys here access these compounds. The US situation is watched with interest but has not changed anything here yet.

From Norway we watch the US regulatory situation with interest. The peptide supply situation in Scandinavia is stable for now but nothing is guaranteed long term given the direction things are moving globally.
