First time pushing EQ above 600. Been at 800mg for 5 weeks, running test at 1000mg alongside. AI is tight, E2 sitting at 25 on sensitive test. The metallic taste showed up around week 4 which I know is a high blood level indicator. Hunger is something else at this dose. Did you find a way to manage the appetite or did you just accept you are in a full off-season bulk mode? And the EQ anxiety component above 600 - is it purely E2-dependent or is there a separate mechanism running at higher blood levels?

The metallic taste above 600 is the tell. You are running at proper blood levels. The EQ anxiety is not purely E2-dependent - there is a separate component at high blood levels that keeping your AI tight reduces but does not fully eliminate. I ran 800 two off-seasons ago and ended up cruising back to 600 because the anxiety component at 800 was distracting even with E2 perfectly managed. The hunger at 800 - you just eat everything. That is the trade-off. If you are not in a full bulk you are fighting the compound rather than working with it.

800 EQ and you are surprised by the hunger. What did you expect. The compound drives appetite hard above 600. The metallic taste is confirmation you have real product at proper blood levels. My take on EQ above 600 - it only makes sense if you are fully committed to eating everything. Trying to control the diet at 800 EQ is fighting the compound. If that is not your goal then drop back to 600 where it is manageable.

EQ at 800 and you are asking if the hunger is controllable. Brother it is not. I ran 900mg two off-seasons back and I was eating everything in the house. That is the deal with high-dose EQ. You accept you are bulking hard or you drop back to 600 where managing intake is possible. The metallic taste showed up for me at 700mg. That is just confirmation the compound is in your blood at working levels. Good problem to have. But yeah - commit to the bulk or dial it back.

The hunger above 600 is the compound working as intended. EQ was bred for cattle appetite stimulation. At 800mg in a human male you are going to feel it. I managed it by just accepting the bulk and eating accordingly. What I would not do is fight it with caloric restriction while running 800mg EQ. You are working against the compound. The out-of-body anxiety component at high doses - tight E2 management handles most of it but does not eliminate it entirely. If the anxiety becomes intrusive, reduce the dose rather than fighting it.

The EQ anti-estrogenic property at high blood levels is the thing that catches people out at 800mg. Running your standard AI dose for a test-only cycle while also running 800mg EQ can crash E2 because EQ is doing some of the AI work itself. Sensitive E2 test at week 6 if you are running this combination. I came close to crashed E2 symptoms on 600mg EQ plus test before I figured out my Anastrozole dose needed to drop. At 800mg that risk is even higher.

The EQ anti-estrogenic property at high blood levels is something that catches guys off guard. You are running 800mg EQ alongside test and suddenly your normal AI dose is crashing your E2. EQ at that level has its own anti-estrogenic contribution. Pull a sensitive E2 test mid-cycle if you are running 800 and dial back the AI before you are symptomatic. Joint pain and flat mood on a heavy EQ cycle is often crashed E2 from running an AI dose appropriate for test-only.

The anti-estrogenic property of EQ at high blood levels requires a recalculation of AI dosing. This is not well-documented in most online sources but is consistently reported by members running 600mg-plus EQ alongside test. The AI dose appropriate for your test dose alone will likely be too high when EQ is in the stack at 800mg. Sensitive E2 test at week 4 and week 8 is the data-driven approach. Adjust AI dose based on results, not based on what the test-only protocol required.
