First proper blast at 500mg after 18 months on 200mg TRT cruise, what actually feels different?

Been on 200mg TRT for 18 months. Baseline bloods consistent throughout. Starting my first proper blast at 500mg test e next week. I have heard the initial rush from a first-ever cycle is usually absent when you are already adapted to exogenous test. What actually changes at blast dose from a TRT baseline - recovery speed, training aggression, rate of progressive overload? And the E2 management shift - I needed no AI at 200mg. Do I almost certainly need one at 500?

E2 management absolutely changes at blast dose. I needed zero AI at 200mg TRT, needed 0.25mg adex twice a week at 500mg. The jump from TRT to blast is not as dramatic as a first-ever cycle but it is real. Recovery speed is the clearest change - soreness clears faster, can push harder week over week. Bloodwork comparison from your TRT baseline is a serious advantage most first-time cyclers do not have. Use it.

The jump from TRT to blast is subtle compared to a first-ever cycle but the cumulative effect over 12 weeks is significant. The thing I noticed most at blast dose after TRT baseline was how consistently I could add weight to the bar every week. Not dramatic jumps, just steady reliable progression every single session. That consistency is the blast working. E2 management changes - get bloods at week 4 and dial in your AI before assuming your TRT E2 protocol still applies at blast dose.
