Which insulin should i be using post workout

I got the humalog 25 mix.Which one should i be using post workout? This one is 25% fast acting & 75% intermidate acting one.It peaks at 2 hours post injecting.Is it ideal to take post workout? Or should i go for the only rapid acting one which peaks in one hour?

I always take HUMALOG post work out. This one works best. Just take your protein shake with carbs. Then eat your meal too.

What kind of carbs should i be ingesting? Simple carbs post workout like dextrose powder and protein post the shot and other times simple carbs throughout the day right?

The rule for the carbs is 50% simple 50% complex usually....

Ananas + rice for example.
