Sleep stack when you are not on tren but the gear is still waking you at 3am, what is actually working?

For me it was the EQ doing it more than the test. Dropped it by 200mg a week and the 3am wakeups settled right down inside a fortnight, that out of body wired feeling at night is a known EQ thing once it builds up. If you dont want to touch the dose then hydroxyzine 25mg before bed is what actually works for me, consistent sleep and none of the dependency you get off the z drugs. One other thing worth trying, swap your melatonin to 300mcg sublingual instead of the 5-10mg tabs. The big doses were wrecking my sleep quality and the tiny dose was the fix.

The magnesium glycinate and glycine combo is what most of us land on in the end. Before you chase it with more supplements though, try dropping the EQ by 200mg. That wired 3am feeling is usually the gear talking, not your stack.

The standard stack the board keeps coming back to is magnesium glycinate 400mg, glycine 3g, ashwagandha 600mg of the ksm-66 form, and l-theanine 200mg, all 30 to 60 min before bed, the combo beats any single one of them on its own. If that is not cutting it, hydroxyzine 25 to 50mg is the fallback the lads use, consistent sleep without the dependency you get off the z drugs. And drop your melatonin right down, 300mcg sublingual actually works better than the 5 to 10mg most people reach for first.

Solid advice in here. The EQ and high test link to broken sleep gets missed a lot, people blame everything but the dose. Magnesium glycinate and getting hematocrit checked are the easy first moves before anyone reaches for the pharma options.

The 300mcg melatonin point a couple posts up is the one most people get wrong. I ran 5mg for years thinking more was better and it was actually wrecking my sleep quality, woke up groggy every morning. Dropped to a 300mcg sublingual and I sleep deeper now, sounds backwards but the high doses suppress your own production. Other than that magnesium glycinate and glycine before bed is the base for me. And honestly if I am running EQ I just have to drop it 200 a week, that out of body wired feeling keeps me up at 3am no matter what supps I stack on top.

The thing that finally fixed my 3am wake ups was dropping the EQ by 200mg. I was chasing it with every supplement going and none of it touched the problem until the dose came down. Magnesium glycinate and glycine before bed do help round the edges off but they were never going to fix a wired compound running too high. If you have tried the whole stack and still wake at 3am, look hard at your gear before you buy another tub of powder.

Tried everything on the supplement list already covered in this thread and the mag glycinate plus glycine stack does work well for milder disruption. But EQ over 500mg just pushes through it for me, that wired feeling at 3am doesn't care what I've taken before bed. The fix that actually worked was hydroxyzine 25mg about 30 to 40 mins before bed. Prescription antihistamine, no next day grog, doesn't build tolerance like benadryl does. Not something you want long term but when the supplement stack stops cutting it mid run it is solid.

GH timing is the one that moved the needle most for me. Used to pin fasted in the morning and sleep was all over the place. Switched to pre bed and the deep sleep difference was noticeable within a week. The caveat is dose - at 2 to 3iu pre bed it works well, at 5iu plus the night sweats start and you end up trading one problem for another.

Magnesium glycinate is non-negotiable at this point. 400mg before bed, the glycinate form specifically not oxide. Takes a couple of weeks to build up but it's the foundation everything else stacks on top of.

Good thread. The magnesium glycinate plus glycine stack is genuinely the one that works most consistently - I've had members come back to it again and again after trying everything else. The EQ timing point is also underappreciated, a lot of guys don't connect the compound to the sleep issue because it doesn't have the tren reputation.

Good thread. The magnesium glycinate plus glycine stack is the one I keep pointing members to first because it actually has solid evidence behind it and costs nothing compared to pharmaceutical options. If someone has already tried that and sleep is still broken mid cycle, that is when the compound dose or EQ adjustment becomes the conversation rather than adding more supplements.
