Done a few test only blasts and they are a solid way to progress. Nothing wrong with keeping it simple. 500mg test e, good food, train hard. Got decent results from that before I started adding other compounds. Still go back to test only when I want a lower side blast.

Simple test blasts are underrated. Half the forum is trying to run 5 compounds and wonder why they cannot figure out what is causing the sides. Test only you know exactly what you are dealing with. Dial in your AI, get your bloods, eat and train. Everything else is detail.

Run simple and learn your body first. I tell every newer guy the same thing. Test only for your first few blasts. Dial in your AI response, understand how you handle the compound, get consistent bloodwork. Add complexity only after you have that foundation solid.

Test only blasts are what I keep coming back to between more complex runs. There is something to be said for knowing exactly what you are dealing with. 750mg test e, good food, sleep dialed in - made some of my best gains on exactly that setup.

Done the complicated stacks. This blast going with just test e at 1g per week, nothing else. Split into 3 pins. Keeping deca and var on the shelf for next time. Sometimes simpler is better and test responds well when you eat and train right. Week 6 now, up 14lbs and strength is moving. E2 under control with adex at 0.5mg eod. Anyone else doing straight test blasts these days?

Test only blasts make a lot of sense to me at this stage. Two blasts in and I am still learning how my body responds to everything. Keeping it simple with test e 500 for now, adding deca next time once I am confident with AI management. No rush.

The pharmacological argument for test-only cycles is underappreciated. Running a single compound eliminates confounding variables entirely. Any side effect has a known source. Any positive outcome is attributable. From a harm reduction standpoint this is the correct approach until you have enough cycles to understand your individual response profile thoroughly.

Test only is definitely the right starting point and this thread confirms it. Every experienced member seems to say the same thing - start simple, learn your body, then add complexity. Not going to rush into a multi compound stack when there is so much to learn from a basic test e cycle first.
